Who am I

My name is Rodrigo Farinha.

I'm passionate about innovation, artificial intelligence, and using data to solve real-world business problems.

I began my career as a project manager at a strategy consulting firm, managing engagements for multinational companies like Bayer, BASF, and VC funds across the US, India, and Europe. Over time, I shifted my focus to research, diving deep into quantitative methods to drive strategic decisions.

Now, as a PhD candidate in marketing, I’m exploring how product innovation impacts business outcomes. I’m working under the guidance of Prof. Leandro Guissoni, a former adjunct faculty member at Darden School of Business, and Prof. Thales Teixeira, a former associate professor at Harvard Business School and currently a professor at the University of California, San Diego.

I’m pursuing my research at Fundação Getulio Vargas - São Paulo School of Business (FGV-EAESP), a globally accredited institution by AACSB, Equis-EFMD, and AMBA. I was a visiting scholar at Georgia State University in 2019 and University of California, San Diego in 2023.
